| Hyderabadis join fight for Jan Lokpal - lokpal - anna hazare - lokpal bill - bujjiphotos Posted: 20 Aug 2011 06:04 AM PDT Hyderabadis join fight for Jan Lokpal courtesy  From a motley group of over a 100 Hyderabadis chanting the anti-corruption slogan, the number of Anna Hazare supporters swelled on Wednesday when the city of Nizams descended on the streets in large numbers, singing songs, dancing to the tune of patriotic numbers before starting a candle light vigil, showing their strength in numbers and intent.On the banks of Hussainsagar lake on Wednesday evening were over 1500 Hyderabadis who chanted the "vande Mataram" slogan in unison, keeping in tune with the raging national sentiment. Soon, people holding their candles formed a human formation of Jan Lokpal, the two words that have gone viral in the last few months, glowing in the candlelight.The character of the anti-corruption movement in Hyderabad took a robust shape when scores of people thronged people's plaza, their numbers constantly rising from 6pm itself. Infact, a couple of hours before Hyderabadis started gathering at the venue of the candle vigil, an estimated 100 techies from over half a dozen IT companies took out a march at Jubliee Hills at 4pm in support of Hazare's crusade against corruption.Anna Hazare sent 3 pages letter to Sonia GandhiSocialist Anna Hazare sent a three pages of letter to congress party president Sonia Gandhi regarding his disappointment on congress party leaders unrelated comments on him.He stated in a letter as he never involved with any party or he never commented against any party in the country so far in my life career.I see that some of the congress leaders are saying that i have tie ups with RSS, let us show me the proofs so that i can do whatever you say. Without proofs you people can't blame me.As i never talk about politics. am always concerned about the corruption in the country which is why am demanding the lokpal bill. Even if you wish to implement lokpal bill without me also welcomed.So far in my 73 years of life i never came close to any political party, as i know that each political party is have some sort of corruption. If i have a tie-ups with BJP government then why should i talk about corruption in the Gujarat government.Where as congress party should try to do some action against corruption rather they are acting very quickly against the people, who raised their voice against corruption is not good for the government.              |
